I'm not your usual Naturopath

I’m Not Your Usual Naturopath.

Don’t come to see me if you expect only a regular naturopathic approach.

I was originally trained in traditional naturopathic medicine, and gained a Degree in Natural Therapies, which is beautiful, and I believe in the approach, utilising it for myself, my family and my clients.

And there is more. SO much more.

I didn’t stop there. For me, a huge piece to this whole body healing we are seeking, is the mind-body connection, the emotions, the felt sense, the somatic experience we all have or dissociate from, whether consciously or unconsciously.

The experiences you didn’t feel safe enough to process and remain stuck in your body. The parts of you that no one sees. That are in there, driving your behaviours and how you feel, waiting for the right person to come along and see them. To feel them. So they can feel safe enough to exist.

This person can be you, but sometimes we need help to see that, to know how to be that safe person for our self, so that we can integrate our experiences and become embodied once again.

If you are looking for a usual naturopathic consultation

with lifestyle and dietary advice, perhaps some herbal medicine and supplement support, and that is all you want, don’t come to see me. Because that is not all you will get. I cannot and will not work in only this way.

The truth is, I have never been able to. I never fit in the naturopath box. For a long time, I didn’t know exactly what to call myself, not a naturopath, nor purely a coach. The only people that truly know how I work are the people who work with me.

What I do

I see you. I work with your somatic sensations to support your body to safely process life experiences. I coach you to grow your relationship with yourself, with the parts of you that need your support.

I create space for your true felt experience, to touch in as little or as deep as feels safe to go on the day. I see you and guide you with a trauma-informed approach, we stay away from re-traumatisation, and we work within what your body can safely manage.

How did I get here?

I studied Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine, then I attained my degree in Natural Therapies. I studied Neuro Emotional Technique over four years and travelled to the United States to become certified in 2012. I also experienced a transformational and unique coaching certification program in 2012, with family constellation influences.

Over two years I studied the Biology of Trauma[R] and in 2023 attained Mastery level status as a Biology of Trauma Mastery Level Professional.

In 2023 I also studied an Integrative Somatic Parts Work Certification. My trauma healing studies will continue over the next three years as I embark on my next program.  I am going even deeper.

Is this for you?

Due to the magnitude and scope of what I do, I only see a select number of clients. We work together over many months, even years for some. This is how you get the most transformation. you are in this for the long game, to get to know yourself, to invest in support for not only your health, but how you feel in your body, to heal past wounds and build your capacity moving forwards.

We address how you feel in your body, biological imbalances, the parts of you that need to be heard and your somatic experience. This takes time. We are thorough and holistic. We work in relationship together and you build your relationship with yourself. I believe in you and support you to believe in yourself. From here the potential is limitless.
